One of the earliest climbing gyms to open in the country, Rocknasium celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2012.

To celebrate we’ve built an entirely new gym just a couple of doors down from the original gym. We’re bigger, better, steeper and more modern with over 8000+ square feet of climbing. We’ve got more topropes and more leading - including a huge new roof arch and an insane stalactite feature, AND a new 16 foot tall bouldering wall with 47 degrees of overhang. Our climbing ranges in difficulty from super easy to super hard. We still have the pro-shop and a small weight and cardio area, and we've added a dedicated new yoga room, and a nice hot shower.

As always Rocknasium's main focus is on it’s climbing.

We pride ourselves on making our facility welcoming to people of all ages, abilities and motivations - from a toddler starting to experiment with coordination, a ten year old's having a climbing birthday party, a college student looking for a fun way to exercise, a couple looking for a fun date night or activity together, the up-and-coming elite climber training for serious competition, and finally to the hard-cores preparing for an assault on Yosemite's El Capitan!

As a small business built by and run by its co-owners Mark Leffler and Carter Schmeck, for over 20 years Rocknasium has had the "family" feel to it; for it's employees and it's customers.
