Q. What are your Hours?

A. Monday - Friday 11 AM to 11 PM
Saturday 10 AM to 9 PM
Sunday 10 to 6 PM

Q. How do I get to your place?

A. From Sacramento:

Take I-80 West to the Richards Blvd. North exit. (the Davis Richards Blvd. not the Sac one) Turn left at the first stoplight, W. Olive Dr. Follow W. Olive Dr. until it ends in a parking lot, enter the parking area. Rocknasium is building Z.

From the Bay area:

Take I-80 East to Richards Blvd. Davis exit. Turn right at the first stoplight, Richards Blvd. Cross over the freeway and turn left at the next stoplight, W Olive Dr. Follow W. Olive Dr. until it ends in a parking lot, enter the parking area. Rocknasium is building Z.

Q. How much is it to climb for the day?

A. Entrance is $8-$12 depending on age. Equipment is $6-$8. Belay classes are $10, if you need to learn how to hold the ropes for the first time (belay). Belay refreshers are free.

Q. What does “Belay” mean?

A. To wind (a rope) through a cleat (braking device) in order to hold/secure the climber.

Q. How old do you have to be to climb at Rocknasium?

A. We do not have an age minimum. Kids as young as 2 1/2 have climbed at our place. We find that between the ages of 4 and six it just depends on the kid. Bring them in to find out.

Q. Can I bring someone else’s child?

A. Sure. We just need you to print our waiver and have that child’s parent fill out the Rocknasium waiver and bring it with you.

Q. Do you have Gift Certificates?

A. Yes! Choose any dollar amount or call us and we will make one up with any combination of our services on it.
